At Healing Family Functional Medicine, Sandy supports both clinical and administrative operations. Shayne Brinda

Medical Administrative Assistant

Shayne Brinda began her medical career over 14 years ago in orthopedics, where she started as a medical assistant and quickly discovered her deep passion for helping people improve their health and quality of life. Growing up and attending college in Maine, Shayne developed a strong work ethic and a heart-centered approach to patient care that continues to guide her practice today.

Six years ago, Shayne’s professional path shifted when she personally experienced the challenges of infertility. That journey led her to discover functional medicine — and ultimately transformed both her health philosophy and her career focus. Through her own healing process, she developed a profound passion for root-cause medicine and a commitment to helping others uncover the “why” behind their symptoms.

Today, Shayne blends her strong clinical foundation with a functional, whole-person approach, empowering patients to take control of their health through education, personalized care, and sustainable lifestyle strategies. Her mission is simple: to help individuals feel heard, supported, and truly well.
